The Story of Cliff and Mary Nalis
Mary Nalis was kidnapped from her home near Toronto in September 2013. Her uncle Cliff Davis proposed a reduced ransom of $200,000 to the kidnappers. The police were able to help Mary's husband and family behind the scenes but couldn't directly intervene. It would still be one of the largest ransoms ever paid in Canada.
