A prospect will often ask about pricing earlier when they feel like what you offer is more of a commodity and they're price shopping. As opposed to one that you, whether it's a deeper relationship that you have or your own brand and the industry,. They see it as being more complex and nuanced. So whenever you are in a situation where someone's just coming to you, before they hear about your services, before they articulate to you what their needs are, and they ask about the price, I would be wary because they may be already a solution in their mind.
