The Isolation of a Parent
CNN's John Sutter talks to the author about her life in China. She says she was isolated as a child, but that things got worse when she had kids. Her parents were "taking on the parent role because they were with them all day" The family dynamic is isolating too, and you probably don't have a lot of privacy.
