The Trial of a Double Murder in Iceland

Siva cashelski and christian vitheson were both sentenced to life in prison for killing guthmunde and gafina. This made sive and christian the first people in iceland to be convicted of a double murder in more than 100 years. None of the suspects were present in court when the verdicts were read. They learned of their outcome as they read the newspaper in their cells or being told by prison guards. One by one, they were shipped off to various prisons around iceland to serve their sentences.
