The Confusion of Vatican II's Doctrinal Council

I think it's true that you have to attend to the level of authority of different documents. You have very authoritative statements on um what we've been called into gruesome consistently uh you have put a long time in it. The coercion that the church can use the secular arm to uh an act is going to be over her own members people who are already well-behaved and I think it is important to not to say all right let's just forget Vatican II. Don't need to worry worry about it because it is the most recent ecumenical council and its purpose was in a way to set the pastoral strategy for our own time.
