The Rise of Practical Visionary Journeying in Second Temple Judaism

The apocalyptic text known as one Enoch is not canonical in mainstream Judaism, nor in any form of Christianity. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church recognizes one Enoch as a fully canonical work. One Enoch only survives as a whole Engez but we have fragments of earlier bits of it in other languages.
