Aristotle's Syllogism

Aristotle's idea of the syllogism is attractive to philosophers, says Janekif. He was able to give rules and methods to show that some particular form of syllogism was valid or wasn't. So for example, from some A's a B, you can conclude some B's are A, he writes. And then he could show that any valid syllogism could be explained in terms of two fundamentally one, fundamental ones which were obviously valid.
