A lot of the astrology that I teach is based between the 13th century and the end of the 17th century. And if you're practicing in the 17th Century, you technically could or should be using regi Montanas. If you make a pact with the divine that you're going to use Placidus houses, then that's the house system that the divine is going to speak to you through. It just sounds for me like a recipe for confusion because we can't really reconcile the fact that in Regioh, Montana, your ruler of the ascendant is in the first house.
