The Relationship Between Artia and Gaius Octavius Caesar
The importance comes from her mother's side of the family, Artia being related to Julius Caesar. Her father is prominent, but not even from the senatorial level of society. But he dies when Octavia is relatively young. And all of his estates are left to Octavia's brother, Octavian.
