What Does the Theatre Mean to You?
I think I didn't realize how exceptional my childhood was actually. As it was for every child in Trishister really, whoever they were. Because the theatre was where you did concerts and you did school shows there. We always had archaeologists sleeping on our floor in our house in Fishborne who were helping with the dig. And so this is a really culturally rich childhood that you're describing. For you it was just taken for granted. It was all around you. You can see your own experiences echoed back at us but we can also stand in other people's shoes. All of this is for everybody. We know that books and theatre and music and dance and art sets us free. We
