The Importance of Communication in Alternative Medicine

Dr. Yaski: The reason why people opt for traditional practices or complementary practices is because from a science based practitioners perspective, there is not enough communication happening. He believes that with good communication with evidence based and compassionate care, a lot of these alternative medicine practices can actually at some point die down in the future. Dr Phillips: I don't think integrative medicine has any major role to play at the moment except cost burden. But I hope this will change in the future and we might get something out of it with better studies and evidence instead of viewpoints and opinions.
