I think it's really important to put things in perspective so that we don't fall into what my fellow centrist should often criticize the doing sort of both sides, you know, moral equivalence deal. I happen to be a big believer that broken windows theory of policing and as understood by James Q. Wilson is enormously important. American politics work best when we debate different approaches to solving the same problem.
