If you were sitting on a train and someone who looked homeless, came and sat next to you, you would be a lot less likely to talk to them. If you felt more attractive or was wearing something to signal that they, for example, went to oxford, yes, something like that, would make you more likely totalk to that person. But i think the underlying incentive, the underlying intention therei is that you do see these people as being different on the surface, and therefore you ware more likely to give one your time and not the other.
