The Dangers of Counting in the Wild

The tungara frog is only about 30 millimetres long and lives in South America. Males know this, and they make what's called advertisement calls. These are short, harmonically dense notes that might croaks. If a male frog is making a lot of chucks, it's more likely to get eaten. But then I don't know if this is typical male behavior. They're kind of risky when it comes to sex.
