Denying the Truth at a Time Principle
This principle has actually been implicit in a lot of debate throughout the history of philosophy. It's great to make it explicit, but there's something I believe very intuitively satisfying about it. So that's one thing you could do would be to deny this claim about truth at a time. Another way to respond is to the principle of the fixity of the past.
