Pulmonary Hyperatention - What's the Cause of Pulmonar Hypertension?
The most important thing in these patients is to see how the right side of the heart is actually handling those elevated pressures. Even if they're not hypoxymic, something like significant atalecticis or a large compressive effusion can cause elevated pulmonary pressures simply because you are losing some vasulature. The other relates to pulmerater regulation. When an area is not ventilating, the blood vessels constrict and it is harder for blood to flow through them.
