The franchise tag deadline has officially came and went. I think it played out the way those of us with common sense thought it would. Tony Pollard, there wasn't much question. He wasn't going to get a long-term extension with the Cowboys. And then you have take one, Barkley and Josh Jacobs, two former first round picks who are worthy of a long- term contract extension but their franchises thought otherwise.
