The Anthropic Principle and the Cosmological Constant

There are some great examples of how the anthropic principle does help steer us towards better understandings of the nature of and time. And one of them has to do with something we talk about on the poncasta lot, which is the rate of the expansion of the universe. If it expands too quickly and too rapidly, then you just don't get interesting structure. So in that sense, it is useful. The fact that we are even here, we know that our calculations have to end up creating a universe that allows us to be here.
