The Importance of Ethics in Design

A designer who spends their career behaving unethically, even if they get caught time after time after time, there's absolutely no repercussions from it. We're designing like, you know, stuff in the social sphere, stuff that deals with interpersonal relationships, really complex shit. And we've very rapidly gone from a digital design world to a tech design world where potentially the things we create will reach a sizable proportion of the world's population. That's a massive change in responsibility.
