Fredrick jamison said that our imagination is just essentially atrophied, like we can't imagine. He referred to it as f s f, but science fiction and future history. And reverse the stereo, typical description of this gara, what is indeed authentic about it as a mode of narrative and a form of knowledge, is not at all. It's capacity to keep the future alive, even in imagination.
