The Importance of State Violence in the Movement
Crystal, you've used a few times now that the word state violence. Why is it so important to use that term and that concept in your opinion? Crystal: It's essential because it makes very plain that we are talking about Black life and Black death. We are talking about the specific vulnerability of Black people to violence at the hands of the state.
