The Role of Animals in Domestic Violence
When she was sentenced 18 years, there was kind of this uproar, this outrage around that. That stands in stark contrast to her being abused for over 20 years and no one standing up for her. She really thinks if someone had done something that probably she'd be dead and maybe the kids would be dead. And I know that many people in her life, they feel extremely, extremely guilty that they didn't step in but they didn't know how or if they could.
