I'm curious how you got started with sort of traditional art and what your background there is. My parents were engineers, but my mom actually encouraged my many artistic endeavors and enthusiasm. And I think I tried everything from sculpture to wood carving to like drawing your painting and like even fashion design. Back then in Soviet Union, there was this strong culture of do it yourself because we couldn't buy nice things or clothes. So if you want something, you better do it yourself.
