Mark Joseph Stern: Classroom diversity is just a vestige of Bockey in the cases that come before. He says it was always not permissible to say, we are going to permit affirmative action to remediate the vestiges of centuries of discrimination. Stern: In some sense, hugely problematic that because that is the tool that is used to justify affirmative action, it's now sort of dismissed.
