Character Without Agency Trapped in Front of Us
The trope, the classic trope is the stroller in front of the runaway bus. Representations of disabled characters as either evil or a burden are also ones that jump out. The character who spends all their time trying to get rid of their disability exists for no other reason than to provide the protagonist with inspiration on how much they are overcoming.
