The Importance of Sacrificing
I mean in actual practice if you were to abide by their ideas it would certainly mean that. William McCaskill I said no if you really want to do the most good what you need to do is go into finance make a lot of money and give it away. That's what he did even though he didn't really want to even though it wasn't what he personally enjoyed. The idea is your your choice of career is totally alienated from any personal values it's all about just the consequences, says Peter Singer.
