Vampire bats will get hungry if they don't feed for a day or two. So their friends will know that, and they'll just barf up blood for them to share. Is there anything more goth and selfless than that? It's lok, just like offering your neighbour hot dog, except you have eaten it first. Not to mention the vampire finch.
