How I Learned to Speak Chinese

I grew up in a small city in Indiana and didn't know anyone that spoke Chinese besides my parents. I was the only one in the family who couldn't speak it. My mother is Shanghai-nese. When I'm in Shanghai, I'm like, this is my town. These guys don't know their roads, but I couldn't tell them in Chinese. Just one day, I was so mad that the Chinese just spewed out of my mouth... Then after two or three years, suddenly I could speak it.
