We need to make the case for cash with traditional philanthropic donors who may be more interested in building schools or digging water wells. And then we have to fight a different argument with the effect of altruist community. I believe there is nothing comparable to cash if you're interested in addressing global poverty. If you're looking for something that is focused on poverty and has a global application, it can actually change the way in which the international development system works.
