Marina and the Gallerist

Marina is aware and present for everything. Someone stabs a knife into the table between her legs. She feels thankful there are some women present, who discourage the men from even worse violation or criminal behavior. After midnight, the performance has divided the large crowd into smaller factions. There are those who are possessed by their whims and those who are concerned for Marina's well-being. Some of the audience obviously want to protect me. Others want the performance to continue. This being southern Italy, voices are raised, tempers flare. The gallerus enters the performance space and announces, the performance is over. Thank you.
