I have met a few younger parents who are endeavoring to bring up their children consciously. I've met quite a few because of the people I come into touch, into contact with. But if I go back to when I was a child, I can't think of any conscious parents at that time. People didn't even know what it meant to be conscious. It's an enormous liberation when you can give up the need to be understood by other people. That need was actually always just created by the egoic mind.
