Is Karl Poppa a Real Knowledge Clue?

I don't see that you could ask what it is about the thing that gets copied that makes it knowledge. I think he would be enormously helped by reading Poppa. There's a lot of people who just have very little respect for philosophy in general. You can learn something from Karl Poppa, you really can. The most promising way of detecting life elsewhere will be seen in spectra passing through the atmosphere of planets orbiting distant stars. Never mind graining pictures of Mars or finding bacteria on Earth - we'll find alien life there too.
