How to Fuel Your Climbing Sessions

I was having a hard time with energy levels on rifle weekends. I just didn't have enough protein, carbs and fat and calories throughout the day to support the energy level of being there even. It's like if you don't have the fuel to support your sessions, then you have to pull that energy to have the session from somewhere. So I always try and have a substantial snack before I go to the gym, even if it means my session will be 20 minutes shorter. That shows up for me typically on busy workdays where I have back to back clients.
