What Happened to the Protests in China?
China is a dictatorship, like in all dictatorships. The underlying impetus for protest has always been there. And I think the incident you mentioned is one long, brave young man unfurling a banner demanding freedom on the periphery of the Beijing city. That provides the inspiration and sort of like an amber that ignited the prairie fire.
