The current personal training and strength and conditioning model is to make things look like, uh, the activities that you do and then load them or make them more difficult through instability. So whatever strength you acquire by doing squats and presses and deadlifts gets applied when you practice your Jiu Jitsu three, four or five times a week. "It just comes along with it because the movement, the, the movements that you're doing are, are requiring that strength anyway," he says.
