Data Science - Is There a Plug-in for D Beaver?

Jupiter lab des top ap is a cross platform, stand alone application. It's an icon on my dock or on my task bar. I click it, it runs like an ap, but inside of it is j Jupiter notebook. The most popular way that people interact with data on the data science side has been to use this app. So i'm not sure destop ap would work as well for us, although maybe it's deafilly interesting.
