Tesla's 75th Birthday
In 1934, Tesla announced that he had created a weapon of mass destruction called teleforce. He claimed it would bring down 10,000 enemy airplanes at a distance of 200 miles from a defending nation's border and will cause armies to drop dead in their tracks. In fact, there were no buyers except the UK and Yugoslavia both indicated that they had interest in his death ray. The same year was unfortunately when Tesla was hit by a car and never recovered from his injuries.
