Is Gamification Really Effective?
Gamification is all seemingly rooted in psychology, isn't it? One thing we know is that achieving goals feels great. For us, as human beings, just a visual reminder of potentially losing something is enough to make us keep going. But then on the other hand, that can also backfire because if you're telling people to play, if you're mandated play isn't really play,. If people are getting told to play without understanding what's in it for them, it's a problem. And also if they have issues while playing with things like accessibility is a problem too.
