It does seem like soft forks are becoming increasingly difficult to get community consensus on. We shouldn't decide how seriously we're going to research and test and vet something based on whether or not it will be easier to self-work, he says. I'm just playing devil's advocate here. Now that Bitcoin is mainstream putting in more privacy features seems like you're pushing water uphill but like you're sort of picking a fight with the powers as opposed to if you got this in five years ago.
