How Important Are Role Models in Stimulating Nobel Laureates?
In some cases, people have found their path so early that it's almost, it wasn't even time to have a role model really. I think one of the most beautiful stories about role models comes from 2012 chemistry laureate Robert Leffkowitz. He was just sort of learning to become a doctor and applied instead to do research at the National Institutes of Health. And he was successful together with this incredibly talented group of young people who then went on to do amazing work.
