The Uncharismatic Character of Neil Armstrong

I've always found Ryan Gosling, who plays Neil Armstrong, to be quite a boring actor. I find him quite uncharismatic and not that great. And maybe they needed to give the part to someone who just had some sparkle somehow. He won me over with this level portrayal. The reason I got pulled into this movie is it so wasn't a traditional three act structure movie.
