Amazon's Fall Cash: How to Address Latency in Bottlenecks
The main reason why we built file cash was to support these cloud bursting use cases. One use case you can imagine is customers who have a genomic sequencers who are generating terabytes of data every day. A lot of small visual effects studios that have very unpredictable workload needs. Being able to quickly take that data, bring it into AWS and make use of the elasticity of Amazon compute is incredibly valuable for those kinds of customers.
