"I just started taking advantage of the fact that i could do all these different kinds of music," she says. "Once i caught the wave or some me thing, it's just like, oh, whatever ... I don't if i don't know how to do this, i'll figure it out." Her mother didn't mind her having a white mohawk but was worried people would think less of you as a musician with one.
