Patrick: I can feel the studio breathing down my neck that I need to make an action movie so how do I get this sequence that I feel is just being like Gilroy's perspective. Rob: Tony Gilroy has managed to create a solid directorial career for action films because he's fine in action so he's good enough at action films to have built a career doing it while also quietly a pretty solid person in room guy and action is made cooler by good context. Patrick: The background of the theater makes so much more sense than what you would see from traditional plays about people talking in rooms. He says there are better action scenes but they don't fundamentally change the core tension
