The government says it's too dangerous to send consolar officials into the region. But there is no evidence of that, and most repatriations take place right at the bord between syria and arac which is a heavily trafficked area. Is this just about political will and not wanting to be seen as like rescuing these people and bringing them back? I haven't seen anything that makes me believe otherwise.
