The Importance of Patriotism in College

I didn't grow up in a political household. We were too busy with baseball and basketball and working on the farm. My father himself was a Vietnam veteran. But I just grew up, you know, believing that America obviously was a great country and we're on the right side.We had the Reagan view of the Cold War that we should win and they should lose. And then you went off to college as an undergraduate at Harvard and of course you encountered universal agreement with those years.
