Michaela brought up on a council estate by a mum who worked as a cleaner at weekends and evenings to make ends meet. Cole went to a Catholic primary school, as the only black pupil. At 18 she found God big time after joining a dance group link to a Pentecostal church. She was invited to a service and ended up getting saved. Her conversion kick-started her writing career.
