One of the key metrics that product teams frequently said is how frequently someone is engaging with the product. Depending on the problem you're trying to solve for, frequent engagement could actually mean that they're not getting the value they want to from your product. So I usually start from how do we actually measure and understand value delivered to users? And to do that, it's going to be weird, but most of my solutions to these problems are going to be research. When you're a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail.
