I always encourage people to do a little bit of deconstruction in community. Because one thing about Jesus, he's going to always come back the same way. Like you can work through whatever issues you have with the biblical text. But that would lead me to not no longer wear shoes, right? So I think just making a distinction between the object of our faith versus people who would objectify us through that faith has been really freeing to me.
