Introduction
Noam Chomsky is a towering figure in the field of linguistics. He was one of the pioneers of the cognitive revolution of the 1960s. In addition to his scientific work, he is also a highly influential social critic and political activist who advocates for libertarian socialism. We're going to ask some questions to explore Professor Chomsky's unique perspective on the philosophical and scientific challenges posed by consciousness. And then I'm going to try and persuade Professor Chomsky that consciousness is everywhere.
